It is an API key that connects your website, portal or platform directly to MTC's live product database. Instead of manually copying item codes, prices, images and stock figures, your site pulls them automatically from MTC and keeps them current — with no re-entry work on your side.

The API follows the WooCommerce REST API standard, so WordPress and WooCommerce stores connect most directly. Any platform, portal, marketplace or custom application capable of consuming a REST API can also be connected — including procurement portals and internal ordering systems.

Yes. API access is granted to approved resellers only. You complete the Reseller Portal registration with your trade licence and identification documents, and API access is attached to that approved account.

USD 100, equal to AED 370, per year. It is a single flat annual subscription for the API key — not priced per product, per user or per API call, so your cost does not rise as your catalogue or traffic grows.

Yes. Renewal is AED 370 per year — identical to the initial access cost. There is no price escalation on renewal and no separate reactivation charge while your reseller account remains in good standing.

The API key stops serving data, so prices, stock levels and newly launched items stop updating on your site. Content already saved to your website stays in place, but it becomes static and progressively out of date until the AED 370 renewal is settled. Renewing restores the live feed.

Complete the Reseller API form at mtc.ae/reseller-api, select your MTC sales executive, upload the required documents and confirm the AED 370 per year access terms. Your sales executive then processes the application and issues your key.

Yes — completely. You control your pricing, margins, bundles, promotions and display currency on your own platform. MTC supplies the data; the commercial strategy stays entirely yours.

No. The API delivers raw product data into your website, which presents it under your own brand, your own layout and your own prices. Your client experiences your store — the supply chain behind it stays yours to disclose or not.

Yes. Sync the full catalogue, or select only the categories and items that suit your market and exclude the rest. Many resellers start with one or two strong categories, then expand once the store is converting.

Yes. Live stock quantity is a core data point, and stock synchronisation can be enabled or disabled per your setup. This is the feature that prevents the most expensive mistake in reselling: confirming an order for an item that is no longer available.

The system supports multi-site structures — syncing across all your sites, from a main site down to sub-sites, or from sub-sites back to a main site. Confirm the licence scope with your MTC sales executive before deploying across multiple domains.

For a standard WordPress or WooCommerce store, setup is a straightforward connect-the-key process. For a custom platform, ERP or procurement portal, a developer will map the endpoints to your system using the standard REST documentation — typically a short engagement, not a build project.

Product resources can be exposed over REST API methods, WebSockets, Webhooks and Server-Sent Events, so your platform can react to changes as they happen rather than polling on a schedule.
